The Auditor-General's 2024 report says the Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe, paid N139,830,000 to two related companies, a general contractor and an engineering firm, for medical outreaches in the Dukku/Nafada Federal Constituency in 2022 and 2023, and could show no patients treated and no medical staff. The hospital did not respond. The 2026 Appropriation Act gives the hospital N133,798,760 for free medical outreach in the same constituency.
