Corrections
A correction is published in place: on the page where the original claim stood, at the same length, under the same heading, with the date it was found. The original wording stays visible above it. Nothing is silently edited and nothing is deleted.
Why it is done this way
This is deliberately the most expensive possible way to handle an error. A publication that can quietly change what it said last week has no way of proving it did not, and asking a reader to take that on trust is exactly the thing this publication exists to avoid asking.
So the wrong sentence stays on the page. The correction goes under it, at the same length, and both are dated. A reader who arrives a year later sees what we got wrong as clearly as what we got right.
The register
File 01 carries its own Register of Corrections, printed inside the document at page 10 and reachable directly in the reader. Four errors have been found in that file since it was assembled. Each is recorded on the page where the original claim stood, and none has been removed.

Nothing on this website yet
No claim published on this website has so far required a correction. That sentence is not a boast. The site is young, six of its reports are a few days old, and the honest expectation is that this section will fill up. When it does, each entry will appear here with a link to the page it belongs to and the date the error was found.
We will also record corrections that were proposed and did not hold up, with the reason they did not. A publication that only prints the challenges it lost is telling half a story.
Sending one
Send the claim, the page it appears on, and the document that contradicts it. The last part matters most: a correction that comes with a retrievable record is one we can act on the same day, and one that comes without it will sit until we find the record ourselves.
Anyone named in anything published here may also answer it at the same length, edited only for law and accuracy, with no deadline. That offer stands whether or not the original piece was flattering.
